This course, which is part of the Playwork Induction Series, will introduce learners to how we define playwork and the values that underpin it. Through an in-depth exploration of the Playwork Principles, participants will gain a clear understanding of how these guide professional practice within the wraparound childcare sector. 

Learners will also explore why these principles are essential for supporting children’s play and development, and how they can be effectively reflected in high-quality, child-led playwork provision.
