Creating emotionally secure environments - attachment theory in wraparound contexts, building trusting relationships, routine and predictable and reliable expectations for children
Scaffolding children's emotional regulation - co-regulation strategies, supporting children to develop self-regulation skills, de-escalation techniques
Positive behaviour strategies - acknowledging positive behaviour, restorative approaches, problem-solving with children and introducing behaviour leadership
Working with schools and parents - consistent approaches, effective communication, supporting inclusion for all children.
Assessment: Delegates complete a quiz including scenario analysis, support identification and considerations of behaviour function.
